Need to put best foot forward when you have guests.
A couple of food trucks with coffee, hot chocolate, etc
would have been nice. The restroom situation as described was ridiculous.

Spring game fiasco ??
What the Sam hell are you talking about ??
The event was free and open to the public, and players and coaches were very accessible after the game ....
Do you think they roll out the red carpet at Eastern, Western, Miami or Buffalo ??
They charge admission at P6 schools and probably do no better for fans or worse than what is being done at the GB !!
Get ready for your Wright State bball if you don’t care !!
I do !! - Go Rockets !!

1. I think we should stop attacking each other and respect opinions.
2. IMO the question should be: What did recruits and their parents think?
3. My biggest concern is the offensive line. Spring Game passing stats can be very deceiving since you can't hit the quarterback. Does this help your confidence in the running game? "Micah Kelly led the running backs with four carries for 24 yards. Jacquez Stuart rushed for seven yards on six carries, with a long rush of 10 yards, Willie Shaw had 11 yards on five carries, and Peny Boone had nine yards on nine carries. A minus-seven-yard run hurt his overall numbers." Are we developing young running backs?

My apologies !!
Trying to be level headed, but my statements come out crass at times!!
As far as the Oline, definitely ongoing concerns ... Did have a chance to meet and talk with L. Dumont and family ... Very nice respectful kid and wonderful family ...
Saw quite a few recruits with parents !!
The Perrysburg kid, and the young man from Wauseon ... Both seemed to be enjoying themselves !!
Overall not a bad outing despite some issues with things that need to be rectified by not only the new AD, but also UT facilities and grounds management ...
Talked at length with an older gentleman who played under Frank Lauterbur from 1965-1967... He shared some very interesting stories about playing under Frank X... He also seemed to be very impressed with the facilities- Rocket team bldg./Fetterman IPF/ and the GB upgrades...
My guess, he has not been on campus recently !!
After the snow started, he headed up to the suites !!
Did not blame him ...
Nice crowd, (500-1000) considering the weather ...

FM Rocket… u keep noting to the being a Rocket fan for 50 + years. Thought I was the oldest contributor here. As Clive Rush was the FB Coach when I was a freshman living in the dorms. That makes it about 61 years a Rocket fan. Some pretty bad teams way back then. Only decent OOC games were against Temple and Tulsa. Only game I ever left early was the Tulsa game with Jerry Rhôme and Howard Twilly. Must have been 10 below that night.

Shoot, I can claim 50. As a fan, not as a student alum.

I became a Rocket fan when John Schneider was the QB and Roland Moss was toting the ball along with Tom Buetler the mainstay on defense !!

I got 69 as a fan. Well, maybe 67 since I didn’t follow them til I was about 3. My mom grew up a block from campus and I snuck into games from the time I was about 9 or 10.

It appears the starting O=line is:

LT Ateman
LG Sciurry
C Long
RG Rosi
RT Berg

Not the most intimidating O-line.

Interesting move on Long to ceneter. That move was made possible by Bisek's departure and Ocasio may be less than anticipated.

O-line size has decreased dramatically over last 10 years and especially 20 years.
If size is down then athleticism must be up?????? Hmmm - that is the question.

Overall.... I think this team scores enough points coupled with a very stingy D to win the MAC. I like this scenario better than shootouts. Anyway - I hope that's the scenario for the fall.

Go Rockets!!!!

The first victory under the new over time rules. I have always been a Rocket fan but that game in Las Vegas lead me start buying season tickets. That was a great game. But I think my favorite Rocket victory was the win over Pitt. Why is it I’m not excited about this team like I was the

Was there as a youngster. Must have been 100 people in the stands. Don't forget the snow.

Since you left early, you’ve might have missed Tulsa’s wide receiver (may have been Twilley) being pelted by about 15 snowballs as he was running down the sidelines attempting to catch a pass with no defender on him. A few of them hit him on the helmet. As you would expect, he didn’t catch it and was looking for a pass interference call. He didn’t get it.

My first memory of a play at a UT (TU) game as a high school kid.

Looks like Elijah Wesley has been moved from QB to WR and now wears #80, based on a tweet this week on academic awards for the team.
