RE: Jay Ducker still talking about NIU
He thinks NIU lied, Memphis has nicer buildings and nutrition center and thinks 6-6 is not acceptable.

Great to hear. Sick of hearing about him, what he thinks.

I think that article was written by a high school kid.

How did his head ever fit through the doors of the Chessick Center?

His only alternative was Memphis. I’ve been to Memphis. I’ll take the high road and not try and describe what the city of Memphis is really like. If you’ve been there, you know.

Best of luck to Jay, hope he feels respected now. I’m super excited about the 2022 Huskies, including it’s great running back room.

Memphis seems great…always featured on the “First 48” … talk about free publicity!

RE: Jay Ducker still talking about NIU
I think Ducker was convinced to see Memphis and had a great rooftop BBQ. Then all of the sudden, he got a low-interest rent on an apartment, a new Mercedes and a big shaggy dog. And what sealed the deal to enroll at Memphis was he got to do backhand springs with a 10 year old street performer down Beale st.
Then he started to notice how people he played with always said...whatever is best for the "Team". He thought that was eerie until he found his low-interest apartment bugged.....

Too much talk about a third string player that found some success. Thought he was better than everyone else and couldn't handle the pressure.

I remember how upset I was when he left. Now, I’m thrilled.

Ducker was a very good MAC running back. He was third string. Didn't sniff the ball until Waylee h it rt his shoulder and Brown had some fumbleitis. I will take Waylee any day. He is up to 195 lbs. Brown is awesome too. At 226 lbs with his speed, watch out. Always love as many studs as possible but we kept the best two

I agree 100%. Ducker played great last year, props to him, but if you have to pick two out of the three to keep you're picking Waylee and Brown all day.

Well, if Ducker stayed, he may be the only hot dog in Huskie Stadium!

It's all the same things that Ducker talked about before. He's butt hurt over the NIU coaches wanting more from him or the fact they like Waylee and Brown more than they like him. Nothing to see here. It's just same old news.

Entitlement is a hell of a drug. Best of luck to you Jay. As Thomas Hammock would say, “Nobody Cares, Work Harder”.

I don't see a huge difference in facilities. Sounds like he's making excuses for being third string and not being the guaranteed starter.

NIU Dedicates Northwestern Medicine Performance Center

Chessick Practice Center

Yordan Center

Billy J. Murphy Athletic Complex - Memphis

Just doing my part to make this thread eight pages

NIU has modern and excellent facilities. Nothing wrong with the Yordon and Chessick facilities. Ducker mentioned that Memphis has more practice fields. Well, how many practice fields do you need? He is full of crap, and it's all sour grapes. Good bye, good luck, and good riddance!
