RE: QB Predictions?
It sounds like Cam Fancher is the clear number 1 right now, with Cade Cunningham as the No. 2. The reason given was that they know the playbook better than the Freshman, and of course Colombi isn't practicing yet. Imo, we go into the season with Colombi as No.1 and Fancher as No. 2. All the freshman red shirt and then it is game on next year for the new long term QB.

That sounds good to me. I thought Zamora was a good one too.

What kind of QB is Colombi? I figure he can sling the ball if he was at Texas Tech, but can he also run? Duel Threat QB?

Doesn't look like he runs much...

Looks like he has a few hilights on YouTube.

We don't need a running QB if Ali stays healthy and we get receivers that can catch the damn ball. I hope Ali comes back strong and ready. Seems we always lost a great RB every year or two for whatever reason. But I really like watching him run. Never saw someone cut like he can and still keep forward momentum.

RE: QB Predictions?
Colombi was 23-34 262 in a win vs WVU. I think it's gonna be his job to lose.

I'm really hoping he comes in and starts, that way we can have some experience in there while the young guys learn the system and learn how to be leaders. We've had a problem with having a couple of QB's not being leaders (not Wells) and I'd rather have an average QB that knows the system and is a leader over a hot shot QB that isn't a leader.

RE: QB Predictions?
Part of me thinks Colombi could be a real upgrade at QB for us. But it’s concerning that he’s never been a full time starter, not at Utah State or Texas Tech

He had imcomplete seasons from 2018 - 2021. At Utah State looks like he was the #2 and did mopup duty and at Texas Tech looks like he was the #2 and went in after their #1 was injured. This link has his yearly stats by game...
