Certainly, but I don't see it as a tremendous loss either. Wherever he goes, I hope great success for him.

Landers Nolley is a good kid with a solid family behind him.. I wish him the very best.. He was good while at Memphis.

Landers was a good kid who was a key contributor both offensively & defensively. He’ll be difficult to replace.

Some of these folks seem to think there's 1000s of Nolley's in the portal....There are not.

Maybe not, but he definitely never lived up to expectations here. Saluki the stat guy I bet could pull something together that says otherwise. I bet on paper there are quite a few players that are similar to Landers.

When Landers is on, he's great, but he's also very inconsistent. We need consistent, dependable guards.

It all comes back to the bates thing. Don't think he was checked in mentally a lot of the year.

A lot of truth in that statement. For sure.

If that's the case, he doesn't have the mindset of a winner. Mental toughness is paramount to success as the competition and pressure increases. Good luck playing pro ball if you let the mental game beat you.

Landers wasn't great this year...

He had a stretch when he was on fire during our winning streak where he was who we thought he would be.

Couldn't agree more. He really let us down in the postseason when the "Bates" issues (if they existed at all per the narrative) were more than resolved. 1-6 in the field and 0-1 from 3 versus Gonzaga as well. Inconsistent at best, and if its mental, not an easy fix.

Getting Lester back is much more important than Landers.

Agree with this too. Lester is the more important of the two to retain and seems to have his head in the right place. I'd love to see him and Coach Brown come back for another round.

He was hurt. When your knees are gone it’s hard to make jump shots

We'll see what he does next season, but I don't expect it will be much different than this year.

Depends on his health. He’s got old man knees. So does Chandler Lawson
