I'm counting on the majority of Georgia voters to be against a candidate who favors forcing a woman to risk death if pregnancy endangers her life. Taking him at his word that "[t]here's no exception in my mind", I presume a combination of two doesn't qualify either. How many Americans do you think will support a scenario where a rape victim becomes pregnant and then suffers life-threatening complications, so the law effectively sentences her to death for being raped? Under Sharia law maybe, that isn't going to fly in the US.
So you're condoning rape now? Wow. If you put half as much effort into eliminating rape as you do in promoting more murdering of children, you'd be surprised what could be accomplished, but it seems to you rape is just what you accept and then you pile murder on top to make it better--you'd have been a heckuva slave master, but then I suspect you long for the days of the plantation but for now you just settle for promoting murder and rape.
That's an impressive flight of fancy, even for this board. What possible logical connection do you draw between a pro-choice stance and condoning the crime of rape? I think we'd all like to live in a world with no rape at all, but evil is a part of this world and that will never happen. The overwhelming majority of the American people will never accept the idea that a rape victim who becomes pregnant could be forced to die rather than terminate that pregnancy.
If this is the best response GOP extremists like Walker can come up with, I think I'm really going to enjoy the next few election cycles!

Agreed.
Eventually, people like Walker are going to have to (if they want to hold public office) allow for abortion where 1 or more of the 3 traditional exceptions apply: rape, incest, or life of the mother. And eventually, people like Warnock are going to have to (if they want to hold public office) allow abortion to be legally prohibited if/when none of those exceptions apply.

Absurd. Rape, incest victim goes to the doctor the next day and is no longer pregnant. Thus the reason for the 15 week carve out. Women know if they are pregnant within 15 weeks and they damn sure know if they have been raped within that time. Bogus argument and always has been. Warnock may be a "Pastor" but he ain't no Christian.
