Aresco Leaving the AAC
Per the Conference Website:

"AAC Commissioner Michael Aresco has announced his retirement. According to Mr. Aresco, he is leaving to spend more time with his family and "frankly, I'm too old for this s***." Mr. Aresco wishes the Conference well in all their future endeavors and the Conference likewise wishes him well in his retirement.

A national search for a replacement will commence immediately and will be overseen by the firm of Dewey, Cheathem, and Howe, which is nationally known. Candidates will include other, currently serving Conference commissioners."

I was going to add that leading candidates to replace him included Britton Bankowski and Judy McCleod but I didn't want to spoil it.

RE: Aresco Leaving the AAC
There was a good one going around twitter this morning about Baylor and TCU leaving the Big12 and UNT and SMU replacing them. There were a few Mean Green suckers who definitely gave a comment before realizing what day it was.
