RE: Phase one renovations for Historic Rice Stadium
If it matches the seating that UH has, good work.

with such a massive stajium the mistake was always not to tear out those bench seats and put in MASSIVELY wide chairback seats with cup holders on both sides and wide arm rest and make them the most comfortable most roomy seats in D1-A
the other thing they can do is come in on the first level seats in the upper rows under the overhang of the second level and remove those seats and level out the floor to be even with the concourse and put in some sweet suites or club seats under the overhang of the second level
Are you referring perhaps to the famous "Kennebunkport Style Stadium Seats" with cup holders?
the right color of course and wider with cup holders
Really !, why are you a” Texas tech “ die hard over here fussing over about what tha heck rice is doing, isn’t there a b-12 board now, mybe you got kicked off the red raiders board
I want Rice to be at their best because Rice is a great asset to The City of Houston and I think they would attract more casual fans with an extremely comfortable stajium that people would enjoy being in for a game
Don't want to hijack this thread, but i've been saying this for years about ECU's basketball arena. Minges is one of the most uncomfortable arenas i've ever been in. Absolutely no leg room in the upper bowl, knees are always in someone's back. If you want people to show up and keep showing up they need to feel like the area is a place they want to watch the game.
