ive said i before.. if you think small ball is a legtimate way to win (6'8 at the 5, 6'6 at the 4) tulane has an extremely goof team
Even beyond their top 3-
- their top 3 are all conference
but then have sion james who plays a galen robinson role for them (but replace speed with strength).. the super glue guys on O and D who started as a true freshmen, and true sophomore for them, and going into his 3rd year
(sometimes gets mentioned in niche draft circles like below lol)
but then added a notable Georgetown starter who was putting up 9per as essentially a redshirt freshmen
and a transfer who was a 4star in HS, tre williams (his 3years of college have been really poor) but he is really skilled at 6'6
im not sure i buy into them winning at a ncaa level being so small, but their roster looks good.. 1 legit center and id have jumped on board so fast.. they look great from 1 to 4
I’ll be pretty disappointed if Tulane isn’t in the tourney this year. Mainly because I don’t see any other team making it in this league.
Someone will emerge and rack up enough wins to get in along with Houston. Cincinnati has a great opportunity to rack up some early season wins for their resume in the Maui Invitational…problem is the field is absolutely loaded and on paper UC is probably the worst team in it.

daniels is 200lbs, weighs less than our pg...
no offense to daniels but i doubt he is making any kind of impact next year, needs to get in the weight room first

-- Miguel 6’4 - 2 year starter from Kansas State
-- Harris 5’9 - started heavy amounts of games at Memphis/iowa state
Gregory seems to do well getting talent from transfer portal now if he could only get wins.
the descriptions you used are a bit of stretch, the returners werent exactly starters ... i changed it up a little
but i agree with your overall point... USF doesnt have the worst roster in the aac or even close
every rotation player but trey moss will atleast be a junior, every starter has p5 experience, 2 5th year seniors.. on a individual level there is some talent...
theres a huge fundamental issue of no one but tyler harris can shoot 3s on roster, but there should be enough defense and other kinds of offense to keep you "maybe" competitive

Didn’t mean to say starter, I meant to say that they started their career at those schools. Basically our entire starting roster are transfers from elsewhere. And our team was so bad that even those coming in from else where this year are better than what we had prior year. Murphy was our only good loss and even he was very restricted at what he could do, as a guard not being able to shoot threes or FTs are big weaknesses.
I could see Chaplin battling Miguel for starts as they have similar stats and playing styles
I hope we are at least competitive next year we are not going to be a team to win high scoring games, it will be another season of watching mud fights.

I don’t think that’s accurate. There are multiple articles that put him at 230 & 240 lbs.
m. I think the 247 stats must have been from a camp a while ago. He apparently picked up multiple sec offers in the last couple of months, probably after adding all of this weight.
For example https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nola.co...1.amp.html
