Rice hosts the Lopez Bayou Classic this Thursday - Saturday, with running finals (high school and college) taking place on Saturday evening from 5:30-8:30.

Right now, freshman Grant Levesque is competing in Day 1 of the Decathlon at the Texas Relays in Austin. He's off to an uncharacteristically slow start. His best event is the pole vault on Day 2.

Usually, Texas Relays are the following week, but every few years, there are not enough weekends between Indoor Nationals and later events that are fixtures on the calendar.

Next year, Texas Relays will return to its normal spot.
