The CCHA/failed WCHA is a complete afterthought in college hockey discussions.

If you're Minnesota St, you have to be thinking it's time to go play on a big stage.

Maybe add them to NCHC along with Arizona state to make it 10 teams? But travel costs would hurt going to Tempe.

USCHO Forum they're saying we have a 1 seed locked up. Most likely vs Ohio St in Round 1. (I like the match-up but get concerned of officiating vs a Big 10 team)

Anyone know where the North Dakota forum is? I'm just curious what they're saying there.

Looks like Ohio State and Clarkson will both be bumped by lower ranked conference champions (American International and Harvard)

Mankato wanted to join the NCHC in 2016:

Arizona State was/is the key, though the issue back in 2016 was their arena. That arena is scheduled to open this Fall, so stay tuned.

My bet is ASU ends up joining the PIG10.
