Marquette wasn't a bad 9-seed. They got a real bad matchup in UNC. Carolina still has all those McDonalds All-Americans. They have the talent of a top-10 team, and when that talent gels, well, they can overwhelm a lot of teams.

Carolina's main problem is no depth at the 4 and 5. Baylor could lay the hammer if one of the two UNC big men sits due to foul trouble.

Yes, there's a reason Carolina had a mediocre season, they have flaws. But they also still have that top-line talent, which means if their guys all play well, they are one of the few teams in the country that can beat anyone, including Baylor.

That's why I'll definitely tune in for this one.

Caleb Love is the key component. When he’s played terrible, they lose. If he’s on like yesterday, watch out. The other players are mainly consistent.

Agree fully.

If the Heels win, you can dictate what outfit and any makeup and accessories Uncle Dazzy wears as he unicycles along Lower Broadway to celebrate.

Just make sure I'm reasonably clothed below the waist.

St. Peter's-Murray St (7:45, CBS)
New Mexico St.-Arkansas (8:40, TNT)
Memphis-Gonzaga (9:40; TBS)

I would put SMC vs UCLA on CBS and SPC vs Murray on TBS. Oh well.

You'd have to put Memphis-Gonzaga on CBS as well and Michigan-Tennessee on TBS since the sites have to go together. I'd still do it. Problem then is the games in Indy end close to if not after midnight (then again they probably did last night anyway).

I was at the night games in Indy. They ended at 12:45am. There were about 5k Murray St fans and a few hundred USF fans, but otherwise the entire building had emptied out being that late. Pretty cool being at a game past midnight.

The Murray/USF game was scheduled to tip at 8:40pm but didn’t tip until a little past 10pm.

This was my first “historic upset” attended and the crowd wasn’t as wild as I expected. 75% of the crowd was Kentucky Blue, so it didn’t have the effect of the building going nuts for the underdog.

The Loyola team in that first half — that’s the one I watched in the regular season 8-10 times. The one that finished 4th.

The dominant team in the conference tournament was impressive, but they didn’t play like that in the regular season.
