Big 12 is looking solid as always. Baylor ran into a hot UNC team but the comeback and drama in that game was amazing.
B1G has looked overall good as well. Can't wait for Houston vs Illinois.
SEC is 3-3 doing ok given the circumstances, Bama lost Quinerly early. LSU fired Wade before the tournament started. I expected 5-1 in the first round with LSU losing. UK losing was completely unexpected but it's March and games like that are why we watch lol.
AAC has looked good, and I think they deserved 3 bids.
ACC especially UNC has looked great as well.
We'll see how the top of the Pac does. I expect Arizona in the Final Four but anything can happen in March.
Big East has been ok, UConn loss hit the brackets hard but not to bad thus far.

I tend to group the WCC, MWC, A10, and MVC (and formerly the AAC but not so much once the reshuffle happens) as the next group of high mid majors.

You absolutely have the Constitutional right to group the Big East in with whichever conferences you want to, and to shout it from the highest mountaintop.

I would defend your right to do that as fiercely as I would defend everyone's right to free speech.

You also have the complete right to put a whole new page together, in which you group the teams any way you want to...

...just as I have done.

I chose the seven conferences that I did for a variety of reasons, but mostly, because I've spent my whole life following the exploits of the P5, and frankly, I have lost interest in them. I find the non-P5 conferences a lot more interesting now, and especially these seven.

Meanwhile, the updates will continue, and it's going to be very interesting to see how things unfold.

Where's the SunBelt?? Where's the SoCon??

The "comeback" was 100% driven by the refs once the lead reached 25 points. Ticky tack fouls on every shot to help force the luckback. After the win, I was hoping that UNC bench would risk suspension and go after the refs and even the announcers ala Sanders/McCarver style. CBS obviously perpetrated the "comeback". It was shameful.

SEC has looked the opposite of good. Great football conference but supremely overrated these past few years outside of Kentucky (usually) of course.

Well a 12 lost to a 12. Two 8s lost to strong 9s (Creighton and Memphis) and a 6 lost to an 11 (Michigan) basically playing at home.

Not as bad as 0-4 would tend to indicate.

SEC basketball is fine. I don't understand how people judge conferences based off NCAA tourney results. People say the B1G hasn't done anything since 2000. BS, they generally earn 7-8 bid every season. They have had teams advance and so on. The Big 12 has been amazing. The SEC has been very very good as well. We've advanced and been in numerous final fours and won numerous titles.

In the NCAA's anything can happen.
