PA Announcer Volume at Reckling
I guess they are trying to increase the energy level at Reckling, but the PA announcer volume is ridiculous. The speakers are pointed straight down at the people sitting under the rafters, instead of pointing outwards. My sternum is vibrating every time the announcer says something. It reminds me of when I heard Emerson and Lake (without Palmer) at Bayou Place in 2010, and Keith Emerson brought his original moog synthesizer and used it on "Lucky Man". I'd rather my sternum crack from good music than from hearing a new SFA batter coming up to bat. Everyone in the medical center can hear every batter that comes up to bat.

The notion that loudness equates to fun is a damnable conceit of stadium operators everywhere.

Music and announcements only need to be loud enough to be heard; they don't need to be loud enough to suppress all other sensations.
