He was also on Jim Rome and 3 Man Front on Jox today. Some of his answers in the Jim Rome interview lead me to believe he's not planning to go anywhere anytime soon.

If AK coached the next 12 years or so at UAB, you guys should count that as a huge win for your program.

No reason he can’t retire from UAB, just need to get his contract closer to that million mark.

Have the travel plans been figured out yet?

I believe UAB could have paid AK a million a year when he was hired. Supposedly he took less money and gave the school a hometown discount. I have no doubt he'll get a raise to a million if not a little more.

AK's interviews on the next round, jim rome, and with the barstool guys with jelly have been phenomenal. I love listening to him speak and talk about the program.
