Dick Vitals has us beating Boise St... I guess he qualifies as an expert.
If Seth Davis can be an expert, hell Pee Wee Herman could be one too.

I would rather everyone pick against us, historically we do better in those situations.

Absolutely

The guy in the video said "It's hard to trust a group of freshman in the NCAA Tournament". We only start one freshman, and bring one off the bench. In fact I would argue that we are morose of an experienced veteran led team than young.

This is a common them I hear nationally (group of freshman) and it's wrong.

Boise St's coach was an assistant to Mark Few at Gonzaga. Some seem to like the story line of a Gonzaga/Boise Rd 2 game.

What's the difference between Boise St's line-up this year vs last year when we beat them in the NIT?

I hear you. The knock on this team during the winning streak has been the level of competition. Many pundits only give Memphis credit for being 2-1 against Houston in that stretch. Houston was the only tournament team the Tigers faced.

I think we match up better against a team like Gonzaga than Boise St, if that makes any sense. From what I've read about Boise, they like to play methodical and slow. Memphis doesn't seem to function at an optimal level without some chaos, so the Tigers will need to impose their will. Turnovers will KILL Memphis if possessions become a premium.

There's a reason the line is -2. It'll likely come down to the wire.

Agree. We could go out in the first round or make it to the Final Four and neither result would surprise me.

3-3 is our record against tournament teams this season.

I mean, I would guess that it would be the team that won 12 of the last 14 once they got healthy.
Rather than the team that was injured through early January.
