Four first-round games are designated as Legend Games. And the Legend Game for the Golden Flashes is the Willis Reed Game. In addition to advancing in the tournament, winning teams will receive a trophy honoring the legend for whom the particular game is named.

The winner of the Golden Flashes/SUU game will play the winner of the Morgan State/Youngstown State game. Not sure of the venue.

With Johnson gone, everyone is really just two additional freshman that that were in and out of the rotation this year. And Sullinger looks like he wants to stake a claim for next year.

Carry is playing like he doesn't care.

Outside of Jacobs (7-10) and Sullinger (3-4) we’re a whopping 2-15 from the field and 1-10 beyond the arc.

That's a good question as to where they are.

We look like a team that thinks we are better than them and just by being there we think we will win.

It is hard to watch when we play like this

We just went through the motions.

The Golden Flashes & Rockets just confirmed why the MAC is a one-bid conference.

Carry came up small in the big games.

The front court is a big (pun intended) concern for next year.

Being a Golden Flashes fan can be hard.

Tough way to end the season after a truly amazing run. My best memory was being back in Cleveland and how Kent State outplayed Miami and Ohio. That excitement had been missing (sars-cov2) and was a pleasure to watch.

Here’s to the underclass players committing to KSU. I think the 2022-2023 could be exciting. We shall see.

Danny a big part of me feels bad for you for losing money on the game but then again if you are the kind of person who has enough disposable income to gamble it on a CIT game between Kent State and Southern Utah maybe I shouldn’t feel quite so bad.

Senior forward Tervell Beck and sophomore guard Giovanni Santiago, two key contributors off the KSU bench, did not play on Wednesday. Beck did not make the trip, while Santiago was not able to play due to an illness.
