R1 Status Story
My oldest had her first college tour with a prominent SEC school (FYI - Memphis is on her list and we will visit later). The opening bullet to kick off the day was an emphasis on being an R1 institution and the status that comes with the designation. It was also mentioned twice more during the actual tour.

Very proud moment for this Memphis Alumni knowing we hold this prestigious status too.

Will be a significant factor in our future. Very thankful for the leadership of our University.
