In 5 hours, the selection committee will be doing the same back at them.
I hope not. We need them to be relevant if we are to be stuck in the AAC with them.

in 2019 attendance was 7,000-8,000 fans per game, we won 2 game but lost in semis. Just surprised we didn't get 12,000+ for the semifinal game
So 8,000 per game is a disgrace but 8,000 total attendance for the entire 4 days in 2022 is fine, including the game where the home team could have punched its ticket to the tournament. Interesting.
My context was simply to state, I was surprised we didn't have 12k+.
Never said it was a disgrace but 7-8k is much lower than the attendance is previous years when we hosted. I should have clarified, the 2019 attendance at Fedex forum was not good compared to previous years when we hosted. In 2014, attendance was 13,000.

Well, we gave them what they deserved. Without biased officiating and a healthy roster, its clear who's the better team. Hope that win destroyed their chances of a bid. I couldn't think of a more deserving team to suffer that fate, riding the "help" from refs at home the way they did.
In the end SMU beat us. They took a lot more out of us than I thought they would. The tank was empty for Houston yesterday.

Well, that would make it difficult for them to play their instruments….

Can't agree they "beat us".
Can't give them that satisfaction.
But it absolutely did drain us.
We just didn't have the defensive energy vs Houston.
And Sampson's strategic decision to sit White with a "back injury" vs Tulane, paid off bigly for him.

yep, most of the players parents, some cheerleaders and a couple dozen fans, just like always.
I’m really puzzled by this....Where were the students even....SMU is easily one of the wealthiest institutions in the conference, so it CANT be about finances/resources....40 minutes away vs 4.5 hours for Houston....SMU could’ve provided buses at the very least....that was a piss poor turnout and they should have been called out...No George Bush Sr...No students...playing an important game for the chance to go dancing.... are they boycotting
He had a good excuse not to be there. He died in 2018...
Guess so
He also lived in Houston.
