In these days with players getting paid, I am reluctant to call coaches "dirty" any longer.
But Wade was a slimy idiot.
And some wanted him badly when we hired Tubby (GP being one).
We would have won more, for sure.
But we would be getting the book thrown at us right about now.
And, no, there is no comparison to Penny and Wiseman (HS coach, full transparency, not a strong offer).

Mike Anderson is a Tulsa alum and rumored to be a candidate there. That would actually be a good thing for the AAC. Once Houston and Cincinnati leave, we need to have as many decent teams as possible. Hopefully, the Koch money in Wichita makes a move as well. We need a top 25 level WSU in this league.

His mentor, Nolan Richardson, also coached there for several years. It would also put him much closer to his home...
