Finish at the rim, play with muscle and limit Akron to one shot possessions. To me, those are three ingredients most needed this evening.

So the league handed down the suspension? Where is their call and not the schools to handle? The video was dumb, they said some bad words and called out some opponents they don’t like, big deal. It is an intense rivalry and like stated above, thank goodness they didn’t have phones and social media on par with today’s back when we were in school. Also, it was posted to Snapchat which only goes out to your friends and then goes away, so one of your “friends” screen grabs it and it ends up being put out by the Akron side and calling them out? And funny that the Akron folks are responding with just as vulgar comments. Seems few people seem to have seen the video, but of course now their interest is piqued and they searched for it. After watching, most think the discipline is ridiculous. Anyway, sure will be nice to go out and spank them tonight at less than 100% and no true competitor wants to take a W from someone at less than 100%.

I dont see the point is the suspension? Is it a good look? No. But it's some cuss words on a social media platform. No coach or player says that word during that game? It's the championship and the MAC wants to handicap the hotest team?

Responses to the suspensions are overwhelmingly calling the discipline a joke.

The MAC probably didn't like the way Kent ended the game at Akron. This was just what they needed to throw a dagger.
If Akron wins tonight they will have the easiest path through the tournament in history. Last night Toledo gave them the game. Now this. If we don't win, the most mediocre team in the conference will represent us. Hopefully, that won't be the case.
BTW, has anyone ever heard an anti-fight song? Most B1G school's marching bands have them. Where they change the words of the opponents' fight gone. It gets bad. But a quick Snapchat video in a Kent locker room and our damn conference have to act all righteous.

It wasn't as bad as two elected female Representatives acting like children during the State of the Union Address. Boorish behavior is increasing all over. I don't get the suspensions. That's too harsh.

I was in KSU marching band and can sing an off-color version of every MAC team's fight song.
Band director used to tell us no off-color cheers. That's where the mauve, chartreuse, magenta chants came from.

I bet they didn't have the video of Akron's students throwing ice at Carry or he sound bites, "Sincere's a pu..."

Here's the thing, we beat OU... That's it. Why so excited? Why is Sendy not grabbing them by the facemask and telling them to shut up. We didn't even win the regular season. The punishment was overkill and I don't agree, but the staff needed to get these guys to focus-up. This is three games in three days. You can't screw around like this. Not to mention I'm still waiting for the big let-down of the 15 game streak. (Like the Indians' win streak years ago.)

Even the MAC person that picked it out probably was unaware of it.

Yeah, you're right. Just frustrated that they've let this rivalry get uglier and uglier over the last few years with things like fans blowing whistles during plays, throwing things at players on the court, and chanting obscenities... Then they finally step in and draw the line at a mean 30 second Snapchat video right before the championship game.

Tonight's going to be very ugly. If we find ourselves up at the end I hope our coaches are reminded all the players to not retaliate and risk a suspension.
