Carry’s effort in the second half has been tremendous. KSU playing well.

Vander Plas looks gassed. Air ball free throw?

The point spread is set at what the house thinks will get an equal amount of money bet on both teams, then adjusted as time goes on in an attempt to get an equal amount of money bet on each team.

Congratulations, Kent State. That one was a tough one to take, but you deserved it.

Now, I have a problem. I don't know who to root for tomorrow night. I would root for you all but I don't want you to tie our high mark of seven MAC tournament titles! LOL

Then again, I hate Groce with an absolute passion! LOL

PS-At least Toledo and its obnoxious fans and coach were sent packing, am I right?! LOL

Dang it, I wanted the opponent to be Toledo. I'm not predicting a loss tomorrow, but IF KSU loses, I would rather it be to anyone but Akron.

I don't think Akron has the horses. We will win by 15+.

So could the loser of tomorrow's game (Akron) possibly get an NIT bid? Are they going back to the 32 team field?

We could possibly. Akron no. Toledo is guaranteed a bid.

Great win. Tomorrow decides how long this win streak is remembered.

Going to take a minute to vent...we get that crew of officials a lot and I must say, not my favorites. Tonight was no exception. The flagrant on Hamilton was a huge momentum swing in the game and it should've never happened. We have a player laying on the backcourt with his finger sticking in the wrong direction while they're still in the backcourt. They let them take it up court, swing it around the perimeter, and eventually drive in forcing us to foul. Then they compound it by giving the flagrant. As soon as it was clear it was not a fast break play should've been stopped.

My other complaint was how Carter was officiated after he got his 3rd foul early in the second half. There were about three or four drives where he easily could've been called for his 4th but their held their whistle.

Anyways, I'll try to stop complaining about a W. Great effort tonight. Beating a good team with Carry shooting 6-18 shows how far this team has come. Hopefully he finds his shot tomorrow though. With Akron's defense if we're not knocking down jumpers tomorrow could be tough.

Jacobs also had a clear AND 1 and they took it away. The officials were bad tonight.

RE: Kent State vs. Ohio -MAC Semifinal
I was not nervous about this weekend. That changed dramatically. I don't want to play Akron.
The flagrant was a big momentum shifter. We are fortunate to manage it well. I almost thought Justin fouled because he was paying more attention to the injury. The refs, clueless as to the previous 5 seconds, didn't stop play Justin was looking down court. Bam, clobbered the OU player. However, we outlasted OU. Good. Now on to Akron.
I really hope our fans can get up and get to the game tomorrow. Both OU and Toledo had a big contingent. Speak of which, can we not count down the opponent's shot clock accurately? I team with our history should know how this works.

Postgame press conference was very good, especially from Sendy. Follow the link on this page.
