MLBPA has agreed to three changes
Shorter pitch clock

Elimination of shift

larger bases


NONE of them are actually needed.

Baseball never needed a clock in the past and doesn't need one now.

Here is a novel idea, how about players learning to hit to all fields instead of being just pulling hitters.

Try a shift on someone like Tony Gwynn and he would bat .400 each year.

If players cannot slide and stay on the base then they deserve to be called out.

Today's players are bigger and stronger than ever but have the worst skill sets in the history of baseball.
