Bring Saddi Home
I want Saddi Washington to come be one of the all-time great Bronco coaches just as he was one of the all-time great Bronco players. The last guy to get us an NCAA tournament win is the only guy who can do it again. Saddi or Bust.

He could have any job in the country he wants. He's not coming here.

Not true at all, he wanted Penn St job just last year but was passed over. He'll have to take a job at a low tier P5 or decent mid major.

That being said, he turned down the WMU job already and is hoping to land at a P5 program or at least a high mid major.

UM already lost in B10 tourney so Saddi should have time to interview this week if interested

Michigan looks very dysfunctional. Between the inconsistent play, Juwan's suspension, etc., Saddi may be looking to get out. Howard just kept him for the transition from Beilein. Getting passed over by Penn State may give him motivation to take a "lesser" D1 job. The timing may be right for WMU. Let's see if our new AD can make it happen. It will probably take a commitment to salary and facilities by the administration and donors. The MAC is a very winnable league.

Blew a 17-point second half lead.

Lol

That was great. scUM should have rolled with Phil Martelli, who is 10x the coach Juwan will ever be. Phil has something to prove.

Is anyone near the AD at Lawson right now? Tell him I’m good for 5 season tickets, ad money, and a donation as soon as Saddi is hired.

UMichigan makes the NCAA Tourney w/ a record slightly above .500 & bottom half of the conference. No wonder why people don't care about the regular season.

Michigan has wins over 7 tournament teams. For comparison, MSU has wiins over 6 that made it. This is actually a good thing regarding Saddi. They are an 11 seed so it's doubtful they will make it past the first weekend. If they were in the NIT, they could be in it for awhile. Saddi should be available soon.

I'll even rent ad space on the bass drum head. That would be cool. BRING SADDI HOME!

RE: Bring Saddi Home
Some of you are assuming Washington considers WMU "home" and that he would be interested in returning (he apparently wasn't two years ago).

After six years in Ann Arbor he may think of U-M as home now.

Good luck in your coaching search. I know Saddi and Stephens name came up during the EMU coaching search and report my Stephens was in the finals. Another name was Charlie Henry Alabama assistant with Michigan native ties.

Anyone know who Saddi's agent works for?

WOTS - if true, is that this could REALLY work in WMU's favor.

Get it done, Dan.

Better to get it done ASAP (like last week).

The longer WMU waits, the more competition there will be for Saddi's services.

Illinois State hired Ryan Pedon while Ohio State was still in the tourney.

It would garner positive WMU vibes/marketing, help with recruiting, etc.

To have WMU's name (possibly) mentioned during games as the camera showed the WMU bench during MI's tourney run.

This is a good test of Dan's leadership, vision, planning, and commitment to the basketball program.

The timing couldn't be better.

Get it done.
