UAB/MTSU: Truly Epic
Wow, that was intense.

To both teams: well-done on a strong season, and thanks for a thrilling show.

RE: UAB/MTSU: Truly Epic
While I'm really disappointed MT could not close this one out with a W; real proud of the turnaround from the previous three years by the Raiders. And though I think we were better today than UAB in most respects, the outside shooting by the Blazers and our boneheaded turnovers finally wore us out in the 3rd OT.

You're right, what a turnaround. Nothing to be ashamed of at all. MTSU and UTEP both had an incredible turnaround year, especially MTSU.

I went from the most disappointing win last light to the most stressful win today. I’m not sure how much we have left for LA Tech tomorrow night. Glad I made this trip no matter.

La Tech could not have drawn up a better scenario. They are playing their fourth game in 4 days... but the Blazers played the late game AND played 15 extra minutes.

Either way CUSA will have a strong representative.

Jelly is a Junior. BtW we have two bigs out for the season. That’s why we had to go small late. Glad it worked out.

Missed some crucial FTs that if MTSU hits they are playing tomorrow instead of UAB.

UAB loses Ertel and Jackson, bigtime performers, but everyone else is eligible to return. Have to think Kennedy will grab another impact transfer too.

Vastly underused Justin Brown is also done.

True. Feel bad for Donovan Sims. He's a Local Kid from the Boro, Captain, Senior, who normally shoots 90% in FTs. I'm not gonna put it on him cause we had several other opportunities to win it. But he's gotta be hurtin'.

And he did hit 8-of-10 for the game

Damn Jelly wouldn't miss from the line

What kind of NIL deal does Jordan Walker have? Better be damn good or he's probably gone. Money talks to these kids and its going to be hard to keep star players from the some P5 that is going to come hunting and showing him a 50k to 100k NIL offer...

Its going to be very common in less than 3 years. Western has seen it already with 4 fb starters transferring to P5 schools then signing NIL deals. Hope UAB (any school in CUSA) can hang on to s shooter like Walker. I think its going to be very difficult doing that.

Looks like Rasheen Ali is sticking around. He is a rep for a big car dealership in Huntington and Charleston... At least for now he is staying.

Jealousy is never a good look.

Jelly has used both his redshirt year and his free-pass transfer. He can stay at UAB or go pro, but his college days end at UAB.

You'll just have to E.A. Diddle yourself to some other fantasy.

Are you always an ass? Hell I did not really need to ask that, of course you are. I assume after 5 years of college Walker has his degree so there's always the GT route. Dont fool yourself into thinking some P5 team looking for a shooter/scorer is not going to get in Walkers ear about NIL money. That's a fact all of us are looking at and today its legal. Why the hell would I be jealous? its no skin off my back if he plays at UAB or any other school. You are just too foolish to understand, not everyone is like you.

UAB is his third school, I doubt very seriously he's looking to go to a 4th school in his college career.......NIL or not.
