If we win….doesn’t matter what Minnesota does we get the 3.

If we lose and Minnesota loses….we get the 3

If we lose and Minnesota wins….we get the 4.


Other things to consider…if we win NoDak should be 6….could be who we are paired with.
If we lose Duluth moves to 6….if we keep the 3 we could be paired with them.

Q is also a possible team to be paired with…..

But check this one out…..we could get the 4, we’d be paired with the 5…..Denver could be the 5……would they send us to Loveland with Denver?

WMU 4 Denver 5 is the worst possible scenario IMO. West region and home games for Denver.

I'd rather be paired with NoDak over Denver or Duluth. Especially if Jake Sanderson is done.

There is a chance that even if we are the third overall seed we would get shipped to Denver due to attendence.

If Minnesota wins I’d expect OSU as our matchup round 1. Min and UM can’t play them…Minn St seems bound to play AIC

If Michigan wins they jump Min St…so they’d get OSU we’d be looking at Lowell or Northeastern.

Ohio St can still easily get bumped from the Tournament.

1 win from Bemidji St, Harvard, or UConn knocks out Ohio St.
2 wins from those teams knocks out Ohio St & Northeastern
3 wins from those teams knocks out Ohio St, Northeastern & Mass-Lowell

Do *not* want to go to Loveland.

I don't see how we go to Loveland if we're locked in as a #1 seed. Denver or Minnesota is going to get the last #1 seed. They are both west of us. So, they get Loveland.

They would not match Ohio state and Michigan first round, they always avoid conference matchups in the first round.

I worded it poorly….meaning Minn St would get OSU.

Did anyone run the pairwise predictor if Minnesota state loses to bemidji and AIC wins Atlantic hockey, could AIC be 15th seed and bemidji 16th? Or will Atlantic hockey always be 16?

Ok, I think this would be the preferred outcomes tonight:

Wmu beats Duluth
Michigan beats Minnesota

That way we get the #3 overall seed and Denver gets the #4 spot, sending them to Loveland with possibly Duluth?

I would assume scum will get sent to Allentown for attendance boost maybe with North Dakota? That regional needs all the attendance help it can get.

I guess we would be the top seed in the Albany or Worcester regional then.

Looks like we could get Umass Lowell or northeastern or even tech.

Any of those teams we can surely beat.

AIC would be #15 & Bemidji St would be #16. Air Force is the only Automatic Qualifier possibility that would be a lower seed than Bemidji St.
