First round game is against Charlotte. Wednesday at 5:30 PM. We lost at home to Charlotte by 3 a few weeks back. They've won 4 of their last 5, with most wins against bad teams but one of the wins over MTSU. Winner gets UNT.

We're good enough (maybe) to beat Charlotte. North Texas is the nightmare second round matchup for us. As to how many posts on the thread, probably not many. And can't really blame those who don't want to watch or comment. The struggles are getting repetitive and annoying.

I'm not sure we're good enough now to beat Charlotte. What is our record since Quincy went down? I think we've won only once or twice since then, no?

I wish I could be at the game on Wednesday. Unfortunately I have work out of town in San Antonio that day. Let’s hope Travis Evee and Carl Pierre have great games and Max/Poteat play well in their combined minutes. last year’s conference tournament showed that the Owls could play defense and they upset a couple of teams. I worry that this year’s team has not recovered/adapted from Q’s injury as they did not play well since he was injured against UTEP.

I do find it interesting that North Texas lost their last game to UTEP, a team the Owls played well enough in Houston and in El Paso to have a chance to win despite Q’s wrist injury. But that does not matter if the team can’t regroup and beat Charlotte.

This would be a good game for someone to step up and provide real leadership.

That’s obviously good news with two fewer teams in the tourney who can beat us! (We went 3-0 against todays winners)
