Noticeable how much worse the offense is flowing with Poteat versus Fiedler. Not saying that's always going to be the case, but against this UTEP defense, very apparent.

Meanwhile, Pierre is unconscious. Hand in his face, wide open, doesn't matter.

Pierre sets the single season Rice record for 3's with 90.

Pierre's uncanny shooting has the CBSSN announcers jumping out of their seats with excitement.

Congrats, Carl, on setting a new Rice record for made-3s in a season.

The 3rd foul on Fielder was BS. Should've been called on Sheffield.

Rice not getting a friendly whistle over the last couple minutes. Blown call on the Pierre putback and then the ref with the better angle on that Sheffield block got overruled by the baseline ref.

58-54 Rice at the U8. Really not loving the offense we're running. UTEP has definitely ratcheted up the defensive pressure, but we're passing or dribbling the ball aimlessly for 20 seconds on each possession. Need to get Fiedler more involved.

Tie game at 63-63. Honestly, the only reason why we're even in this game is because of Pierre making some wild shots. Most of our possessions over the last 5+ minutes have not been good. Even though he's not a shooting threat, I'm going back to Mullins here. He's your best defender and his movement on offense is better than anybody else on the team. If anything, he'll make us more dynamic with his cutting.
