UAB baseball takes a 3-2 series-clinching victory over No. 4 Southern Miss, improves to 25-16 overall and 10-10 in league play.

Blazers win series over ranked opponent for first time this season.

Two great wins for Dunn and this program. He's made some great strides in year one. Hopefully the team can continue to win and get a slot in the conference tournament.

UAB baseball falls 9-6 to No. 4 Southern Miss in series finale, drops to 25-17 overall and 10-11 in league play.

With series win over USM, Blazers currently hold final qualifying spot for C-USA baseball tournament with three conference series (WKU/FIU/UTSA) remaining.

Just need to take care of business against WKU and FIU, and we shouldn’t have to worry about the UTSA series keeping us out of the tournament.

According to a USM poster we were stealing signs all weekend...we didn't win on merit. haha
Their fans are so ridiculous. If you were at the games this weekend you know what i am talking about.

Baseball RPI up to 74, heading to their weekend series in Bowling Green. We are in eighth place in CUSA, and only eight schools go to the tournament, so we don't have much wiggle room. We really need to win this series. Western Kentucky has lost 12 of its last 13 games, and has a 5-16 conference record.

Yep. I think if we take 2 out of 3 against wku and fiu, we should be fine.

UAB baseball falls 7-3 at Western Kentucky, drops to 26-18 overall and 10-12 in league play.

7-1 win today. Need to get the W and win the series tomorrow.

Marshall, who is chasing us, also lost yesterday and won today, so we maintain a two game lead for the final tournament spot.

Disappointing loss today to lose the series at Western Kentucky. So we took two of three from first place Southern Miss and lost two of three from last place WKU.

Marshall lost today so we are still in 8th place, up two games.

FIU has plated two more in the sixth and now leads 8-1. We are currently in a weather delay as the skies just opened up...

UAB trailed FIU 8-1 today going into a rain delay, but came out and scored four in the seventh, and four in the 8th to take a 9-8 lead. However, FIU just had a bases-loaded double and then a two-run homer in the top of the 9th, and now lead 13-9.
