Since Wichita beat Tulsa last night, if we don't win tonight, we're locked into the 8 seed regardless of what happens in Wichita vs ECU this weekend.

That is part of this league sucking. WSU playing on 15 league games. Somehow, we made up games, but they did not.

It's very annoying to say the least.

Without knowing the details of WSU's situation, I wonder how much control we had in deciding whether Tuesday's game against Houston got rescheduled or not.

There was no requirement to reschedule. AAC asked teams to try but if it didn’t work out that was up to the school.

I still say that is a reason the conference SUCKS!

I’d say it’s a reason we should have passed on packing that last makeup game in. Nothing to gain, we weren't going to win and now get to play a second opposing senior night in less than 48 hours. Really great.

I suspect that decision was made by Richie Cunningham AD.

Did we have a choice? We're in TX tonight anyway and even if we weren't forced to make it up I'd be more worried about the lack of competitive culture if we were avoiding difficult games. I'm glad we played. Especially at the end of the season to get another look at our league's standard as we try to build here what Sampson has at UH.

What's the downside? One seed in the AAC tournament? I don't have an issue with us making up our two rescheduled games against the best two teams in the conference.

I doubt it. Wes probably thought back in January when we were 40-50 spots higher in NET that when we rescheduled this that we had an outside chance of a NCAA bid and we wanted a shot at the belt.

It UC was in the mix, it was back to back quad 1 opponents in the final week, no issue with that. It’s UC’s fault that these game are not resume builders.

UC's chance is between Slim and none, and Slim has left.

SMU is 14-0 at Moody. UH lost by only two. We are not Houston, not even close.
