The points breakdown:
Play-in game: 2 points
Quarterfinal games: 3 points apiece
Semi-Final games: 5 points apiece
Championship: 10 points
Tiebreaker: Final Score of title game
You must submit your picks for ALL games, all at once, prior to 5 PM EST on Saturday. If you miss the window you don't get to participate, even though there's only one game on Saturday. So I suggest submitting your picks by Friday.
Much like the NCAA Tournament brackets, if you pick the 8/9 winner to knock off # 1 Towson and any subsequent opponents, you will get credit for those picks regardless of which team you pick to win the play-in game. But unlike NCAA Tournament brackets, you get to pick the play-in winner all the same and get points for it. Thus, if you pick W&M to beat NU and NU wins, you get 0 points there. But if you also picked the W&M/NU winner to knock off Towson and they do so, you get 3 points there. You would also get points if the play-in winner continues to advance and you pick them to win additional game(s). If you pick W&M to beat NU and then advance to the semi-finals and they do so, you'd get the 2 points in the play-in round AND 3 points in the quarterfinal round.
