Defensive Line
The D-Line took a couple of big hits over the last week. Cole Mashburn is retiring due to a fracture in his spine and Morris Joseph put his name in the portal. Both guys were productive and two year starters.

RE: Defensive Line
Sorry to hear about Mashburn. According to his LinkedIn page, "I plan on graduating in the fall of 2022. I am a health studies major with a focus in health science. My interests are the fitness world and the business side of it." Wishing him the best.

RE: Defensive Line
Wish Mashburn a good future. With him & Joseph leaving we need some more help where we already needed it.

RE: Defensive Line
We redshirted most of our previous recruiting class, which also focused on defense. We have two transfers that didn't play last year because of injuries.

While I do agree that both are hits, we have a lot of players that will be stepping up. I just hate that they won't be able to add depth and leadership.

Both Cole and Cade had to quit football due to injuries I believe. Wishing all of them the best.

RE: Defensive Line
I hate to hear that we will be losing so much experience with these two guys. our first two games will stress our defense.
