I hope the bus doesn’t drop them off in Walla Walla and make them walk to Seattle, where the stadium and the university are..
And we aren't going to Kyle Field. That was last year.

Perhaps you are confusing the Univ of Washington with
The second-largest prison in Washington, after nearby Coyote Ridge Corrections Center in Connell, is the Washington State Penitentiary (WSP) located in Walla Walla, at 1313 North 13th. Originally opened in 1886, it now houses about 2,000 offenders.

No way we go to the Potato Bowl in back to back years.

RE: 2022 Football Season
Cephas is currently #6 in the nation in receiving yards. He has 107 more yards than the second best MAC receiver. Walker is currently #22 in the nation. He is the guy 107 yards behind Cephas for 2nd in the MAC. With plenty of eligibility left who knows what the future holds for these guys, but I bet this is the best WR duo we will ever see on the same team at Kent.

Nice stat! Thanks for sharing. Even more impressive that 3 of those games are against P5 teams.

I hope you didn’t just jinx us and these guys think the grass is greener elsewhere, you know, the programs that have nicer locker rooms complete with smoothie machines.

Doubt my posts would have that power but while I'm jinxing, let me tell you what I really meant... I was thinking more along the lines of the Isaiah McCoy route (how'd that work out for him?). Regardless, it's the sad reality of college football today. If a guy gets too good too fast at our level they're a flight risk. Heck, I would even bet other schools interested in Lewis would also be thinking, "He could bring that QB, RB, and those two WRs that each have two years of eligibility left and remake our offense over night."

Good point. I always felt that Crum and McCoy's NFL chances were actually hurt by the non conference schedule. You get to go play 3 games where your offense is overmatched and you struggle, then they're out by the 4th quarter because it's a blow out. And your three lowest statistical games are against the teams with NFL caliber players. Then you get one game at home against a team you blow out and you're out of the game in the 3rd quarter having only thrown 15 passes. I remember Crum's season stats looked ridiculous at the start of conference play last year. This year however, our offense performed pretty well in those games so they weren't the typical statical pitfalls.

Bang on! And for a player like Crum to show he can play at that level against those players must rely on 10 other players that are probably in over their heads themselves so his chance to shine is diminished further.

Watching several players playing hurt in the last 2 games the lingering physical effects of money games is pretty apparent.
