BLEAK (mbb)
The good news: We are ninth with eight teams qualifying so there is a chance.

The bad news: Our remaining schedule is two games against Buffalo who have won
SEVEN STRAIGHT, one game against KSU who have won NINE STRAIGHT and we finish up against the Bobcats who lead the conference.

In a nutshell: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7fjDS0jKiE

And if you are still interested todays game is at home a 7pm on ESPN3.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm hoping Thornton isn't developing bad habits like Hankerson kind of did by trying to identify as one of the primary scorers/creators on the team and then getting away from what he does best. I know he has 3 turnovers but (and I can only remember 2 of them) one of them hit Okanu in the hands in the lane but he wasn't ready for it. This happens a lot and it's frustrating. He'll find a guy open and the guy doesn't expect the pass.

Btw, Makuoi just got a foul on a moving screen. I bet he gets one of those fouls in 90% of the games he plays.

He's also unbelievable at the rapid way he accumulates fouls. His foul to minute ratio is otherworldly.

They're making Buffalo look like one of the best rebounding teams in the country.

I don’t know if that was sarcastic. But, Buffalo has had some nice tip ins, and A LOT of rebounds where nobody looked interested in boxing out.

Are you serious? The team is 100% better then the team we saw in November and 1000% better than last year. It shows you what good coaching can do for a player. Good coaching can improve a players development even the Division 3 type talent that Monty recruited.

I agree there is improvement, and they play hard. They just have inopportune lapses.

It reminds on of the football team of two or one year ago.

What do you expect a former member of Monty's staff to say?

Moving Screen Makuoi. He gets at least one of those fouls and sometime 2 or 3 in a game! What is infuriating about those calls is we are on offense setting up for a shot and the whistle blows and we give the ball over to the other team. Can someone please coach Makuoi to STOP doing that!!!

Are you serious? Which players have improved? Moving Screen Makoy.
Turnover Thornten? Last I checked Hankerson's stats are down from last year.
