Averaging almost 13 runs per game
Va Tech today at 4pm will be a good test.

Sadly, it was declared a "No Contest" due to a rain delay. Things were going well for the Bucs, in fact we were on the board and VT wasn't. It could have been a big win for us.

Northern Kentucky's pitching really helped our offense - lots of walks, hit batsmen and the like. It's good that we were able to take advantage.
I hope that the boys can still generate some offense when the other team doesn't give you free bases.
I missed Saturday's game, but I was pretty happy with the pitching on Friday and Sunday. I'm a big fan of NOT giving free bases and I thought they did pretty decent in those games, not lights out good, but decent.

Tennessee tomorrow
UT averaging like 17 runs a game and giving up 1 per game
State averaging like 12 runs a game and giving up 4 per game
Will be an interesting contest I hope. On ESPN+ I believe.

I'm guessing the Iona bus peeled out and left major rubber yesterday to get outta Knoxville. It was not a good weekend for them.

Let's hope we fare a little better tomorrow. Although it's possible to get a win there, I'd be happy with a strong showing.
