Lots of circular conversations...if this was an excel spreadsheet it just wouldn't work. Summary to the best of my recollection:

the 3 asserts:
1. conference won't negotiate, they have to negotiate
2. no damages
3. contract does not apply and conference HAS to negotiate
4. we will make more money at sbc so we should be released of our obligations

Conference asserts:
1. follow contract you agreed to and signed
2. damages will be incurred by leaving early.
3. follow the contract you agreed to and signed
4. no negotiation necessary since we have a signed contract.

That's the bare bones of it and the crux of it.
