These rankings pretty much nail it.

We’re playing well but I think 2nd is too high.

That is very good.

UAB, although they beat you earlier in the year, had a bad week. They went 1-2.

So crazy enough, Middle has earned that #2 ranking as of now. Enjoy it!

It's very close, but that's what makes this really fun to do and talk about!

No they're not. That Walker kid had a freak game he hasn't replicated yet or most likely ever will. He was hitting everything he threw up. He hit several shots with just a few steps across half court. I like our chances on a neutral court.

I've been of the opinion that UAB, UNT, and LT have been interchangeable at the top. And those three have had a strangle hold on the top of these ranking for most of the season. I guess right now is UNT's turn. Hope we can keep it. Solid ranking tonight. Good work.

It's a weekly ranking and Middle deserves it after the week your team just had. These next two weeks will have really good basketball in conference. Everyone trying to secure the best seed possible for the conference tournament.

It would be interesting if Middle Tennessee comes dark horse to win out CUSA. Most people, me included thought it was pretty much guaranteed to be someone from the west, but I am not so sure now. With the way everyone has been playing the top 4 are pretty close. I still think UAB or North Texas, probably North Texas is most likely though.

I hate to think that Tech won't make the big dance again. If Konkol can't make it by the time Lofton graduates or moves on, then he needs to be let go just like Skip. Constantly being one of the top teams but never winning the conference has to be considered a failure at some point.

I can understand that frustration, but that’s also an incredibly high bar for a one-bid conference. Even if it was a 2-bid conference, that would feel fairer (hell, it’s twice the probability). Now, if he hasn’t made it in another 3 or 4, I can see a discussion being had.

La Tech come out I think your coach should get a reprieve due to the Lofton injury.

Yes. I guess I get them confused, thank you for the correction. But that is a major detriment, I personally can't fault the coach for trying to pick up the pieces.

Oh I think we agree. I don't want him gone this year at all. He's been here since 2015 and we have only had one year without a 20-win season. He's done well. I would give him 3 more years max though for him to make the big dance. That will have been 10 years for him.

Walker dropped 36 at La Tech 3 games before that too. I agree, without his heroics that is a much closer game, but he is also the type of player capable of doing that on any given night.

Didn’t he also hit a game winning shot at another opponent? Kid’s been pulling some weight.
