Omaha about to sweep SCSU after getting swept by Miami last weekend.

Omaha and SCSU are gonna be tied for 5th.

Nodak is up 3-2 over Duluth in the 3rd.

Need Duluth to come back as next weekend we could have a legit shot at 2nd as we get Miami at home the last two games.

Nodak looks good against Duluth this weekend.

Hoping we catch them feeling good about themselves next weekend and we beat them in grand forks.

I just returned home from the tonight's game -- GREAT WIN!!! I happened to grab standing room only seats last weekend so we were able to snag seats right after the first period. Bussi saved our butts again and again -- that Denver team is no joke as they outshot us again tonight. I was pretty worried during that last 10 minutes but the boys pulled it out.

Random thoughts:

- Lunatics totally jinxed us when they started to chant "overrated" when we went up 5-1 in the 2nd period. Only a couple minutes after that chant Denver scored two quick goals which silenced the crowd. IMO, it was way too early for that nonsense.

- We ended finding seats on the corner near the Lunatics and I warned my boys about flying pucks. It wasn't long after that when I watched a puck come flying above me to graze a little girls ear. It scared her to death but she was fine. If any of you young alums take your young kids to the game park them behind one of the goals. The little girl would have been seriously hurt if the puck would have been a half inch closer to her head.

- I was a little disappointed the Lunatics weren't more fired up towards the end of the game. Don't get me wrong -- they were excellent throughout the majority of the game but sat on their hands during the final four minutes. My oldest son is a member of the Lunatics and I texted him during the last four minutes to get some chants going. Having said that, I still believe we have the best student section in college hockey!

- We participated in the food drive -- we didn't win the jersey but what a nice way to give back to the Kalamazoo community.

- As you all know, I'm pretty disappointed the rebrand. The crowd was a sea of black and Vegas gold with old logos -- including my family. I'm still holding out hope WMU changes direction on this.

So apparently the overrated chant and nah nah nah hey hey goodbye was just towards Crona when they pulled him.

It was mentioned in the post game presser and worrad was asked about it and that’s what he said.

Very solid defenseman but he takes some questionable penalties sometimes. I think a lot of time it has to do with his size but can’t take stupid penalties.

How about that Denver player total losing his cool on that last penalty and having to be held back from going after a ref by another ref. Won't be surprised if he gets a game off.

Understood. The goodbye chant was for their goalie which I picked up on at the time. I also listened to Worrad's interview after the game but he did not pick up on it at the time. However, the "overrated" chant was not intended for their goalie it was meant for the entire team. I checked the Lunatics social media account earlier today. If they find the person responsible for the "overrated" chant, they will no longer be in the club.
