I hope you are correct, but the way we have been playing and the way Central has been playing, are two different worlds.

Actually CMU has been playing better without Jackson Jr. one of their premier transfers who left the team to go professional. Last time we played them they only had 9 players on their roster. Should be a good game.

That said, CMU did just lose yesterday to 0-13 WMU.

Good points to both Frank and ‘79. I too was surprised they were playing better after Jermaine left… until they lost to WMU… that could be a bad sign for our game with them as they will likely put in a little extra hustle to redeem themselves (also since we blew them out).

But if EMU comes out against CMU the way they came out against Ohio, they might be able to put this one away early… and be able tp overcome the eventual collapse during a stretch EMU normally endure (haha)

Yes, it is a long shot, but could be interesting.

What is up TUESDAY, is our game vs. CMU while #8, Miami, plays Ohio.

We could go from 2 games behind Miami (#8) to 1 game behind if we win and MIA loses.

Reality may set in thought the next couple games.

I agree, 5 wins of the last 7 is possible but EMU needs to play smart/hard for 40 minutes a game- which is not something they have done yet this season.

LOL hoping is not a plan may have to be my new line to my middle schooler.

My plan since I enrolled as a student has been to win a MAC Championship and I've done everything in my power to make it happen. I just can't seem to get anyone else to follow it!

As an EMU alum/fan, I have plenty of practice with unrealistic hope.
