UAB at Old Dominion, Sunday 13 February 2022 (Super Bowl Sunday)

Old Dominion is 9-15 overall and 4-7 in C-USA. The Monarch are 6-4 at home (Chartway Arena - 8,472 - 132nd largest arena in D-1).

Their best victory was a 10-point road win over George Mason. Worst loss was to James Madison.

Their best C-USA win was over Charlotte and worst loss was to Charlotte. (Strange) They did beat Marshall by 15 at Chartway Arena. ODU is on a 3-game losing streak. Thursday night they lost at MTSU by 15.

They are 2nd best in the conference in offensive rebounds, and 2nd best in preventing offensive rebounds by the opponents. Old Dominion is not a tall team, so I assume they do a great job blocking out.

My favorite bit of triva about this Old Dominion team is that AJ Oliver, a reserve guard for them, is the son of Audra Smith, former UAB Women's basketball coach. He's spent as much time in Bartow as any of our current players.

Does anyone know if the team flew to this game or Took a bus?Seems like this would be the longest conference road trip outside of going to Miami or El Paso.

You're right but ODUs don't look much better.

This lineup with only one shooter makes us easy to defend.
