RE: Confirmed and Speculative D1 Realignment Moves for 2022 On
These are the names that have popped up on speculative movement or talks.

Angelo State Southland talking
Arkansas Tech Southland talking
Augustana Summit wants D1 badly, waiting to see if NDSU and SDSU moves to another conference.
Bentley NEC talking
CSU-L.A. WAC target for a travel partner for California Baptist
Central Oklahoma Southland talking
Central Washington Big Sky if Big Sky loses schools
Clark Atlanta SWAC along with Tennessee State
Colorado Mesa WAC talking stage, might be a key to lure Northern Colorado into the fold.
Delta State Southland talking
Harding Southland or OVC talking, could be a travel partner for Little Rock for OVC.
Hillsdale interested in D1, not sure who will take them.
Kentucky State MEAC targeted school
Grand Valley State to the Horizon to replace UIC since Bellarmine won't go. Foorball to OVC as an affiliate. They are ready to move up. Just waiting for an invite.
Indianapolis OVC Desperately wants out of their conference and OVC needs football members.
Le Moyne MAAC MAAC officials wants them into the conference in reports.
Lincoln Memorial OVC Name that reports in talks to join OVC.
Mercyhurst MAAC or NEC MAAC would be closer schools and football could be parked in OVC.
Midwestern State Southland in talks
Minn. State-Makato OVC unless the Summit wants to start their own football conference.
New Haven NEC wants D1 and signed off to going to D1.
Queens Big South I do not know why they are going after them instead of the larger school UNC-Pembroke?
Southern New Hampshire NEC reports that they are likely replacement candidate in NEC.
Valdosta State ASUN Still on the ASUN's radar.
Virginia State MEAC targeted by MEAC to be a replacement school.
West Florida ASUN still on the ASUN's radar.
West Georgia ASUN still, on the radar.
West Texas A&M WAC Still a good candidate to get more schools with football.
WAC's non-football schools can use the Mountain Pacific conference to form a new west coast conference since it is a multi-sports conference already.

It depends when the D1 finally answers a lot of questions. There are too many conferences are tethering on the edge to be out of compliance, and need to go into D2 to bring up more schools to survive.

The ACC two raids of the Big East did the same.

You could argue Arkansas and South Carolina to the SEC lead to the collapse of the SWC and massive realignment as well.

A lot of lies and fantasy. When does North American University join the Big12.

Thourough and comprehensive list. Thanks. Lots of good candidates in there and we will definitely see some of them moving up in the near future. Lots of shuffling to play out before we see who gets the call if for which conferences.

I had to fixed something that I was wrong about. It was West Florida and not West alabama.

They are not lies. They were in news articles that have been posted on here several times. You just ignore those news articles and from Matt Brown when talking about these things. Stop hiding your head in the sand since your naysaying makes you look foolish everyday. Times hace change, but you have not.

West Alabama is not on the ASUNs radar.... Lol they are barely hanging on to Gulf South's radar.

OK, what has changed at Arkansas Tech since that place left for the Southland that qualifies us for D1 now. We have added exactly one (1) sport to bring us up to 11 total. Women's outdoor track was added in 2020 and right now barely qualifies as distance track. Our budget is $6.45M and has really only kept up with inflation. We are now in a very travel-friendly conference that's better than anything you can come up with in your D1 fantasy. And we are about to complete our 3rd academic year without a full-time AD; the Golden Suns Tennis coach and SWA has been the interim AD.

Those are verifiable facts. What verifiable facts do you have that we are talking to the Southland.

Kentucky State is broke monetarily and administratively. The governor just appointed a new board of reagents to try and fix the mess they have.

This is getting nuts. I’m not DavidSt but this is getting to the point that we have rumors of schools looking at moving to Division I that I’ve never heard of.

The clear solution is to learn every school in Division II. ;-)
