Jim Harrick Sr. has NOT been fired! Repeat, Jim Harrick Sr. has NOT been fired!! It seems some GT fans have either went to the 'Vent (worst place for news I've ever been to. :bang: ) or are making mountains of mole hills (which is definitely probable too. :D ). 05-nono Harrick has been suspended w/ pay, until further investigations are conducted. Let's all have faith in our coach for once, shall we? :)

The AJC was the one that reported it to start with. Then they retracted that article and said he was only suspended. According to WSB TV in Atlanta, "this is the first step in ending Harrick's relationship with UGA...make no mistake - Harrick will not coach another game at Georgia."

ESPN and ESPNNEWS as well as Dick Vitale reported that Harrick was fired at around 4:30.
