The only movie I can think of that was soup to nuts filmed in Memphis was The Firm.

Remember seeing something in the AJC that indicated GA had become the new Hollywood exceeding CA in movie/TV production revenues in an annual amount prior to Covid. There is still quite a bit of production in ATL & GA with several dozen field projects sets planned for 2022 among several studios that have permanent studios around GA. Don't know the effects of Covid but do know that Canada restrictions are much more harsh than GA.

The name change was a huge mistake---most media/commentators/announcers/entertainment/politicians/coaches/officials/strippers/aliens/ministers/foreign countries/gamblers etc etc etc still and will continue to call us MEMPHIS STATE until us old timers are no more -----the same way they will continue to call the REDSKINS the REDSKINS-----they will always be MEMPHIS STATE to me--------------Denny Crum used to just call us MEMPHIS just to pisz us off---we played right into his hands

Read recently that Memphis was listed by the film industry as routinely one of the best places to film. It all comes down to the incentives. So your opinion belongs in the dump.

There are two significant production campuses in the works in Memphis that will serve as a catalyst to all kinds of movie, tv and music video incubators. Along with that is coming a better incentive package to draw projects here. The article provided a laundry list about why Memphis is attractive except for the state and local $.

Never heard of U of Louisville. Just Louisville. Just like we should be Memphis instead of that stupid uofm bs.
