Two of the worst head coaches in college football history.

Just wow.

And McGee is now on the defensive side of the ball? From OC and quarterbacks coach to linebackers coach. That makes sense.

Purdue must be trying to kill their football program.

RE: Coach Callaway and the Stache
Apparently Callaway has been on the staff there a few years as an offensive line coach, and is now being moved to an analyst position. I thought at first that Brohm was just being loyal to his former boss, but then I realized that he came in to be our OC the first year of McGee. So there's simply no good explanation.

RE: Coach Callaway and the Stache
just because someone was a bad head coach doesnt mean they were a bad position coach.

I think Callaway was a good o-line coach. we had some pretty good offensive lines while callaway was our coach - he put several to the NFL.

now Mcgee is another story - not a fan of his for any position. i think he was a bad coach - to arrogant.

Callaway was an SEC quality OL coach. Not top tier, but certainly competent. The thing was that no one had ever so much as looked at him as HC material until he was foisted upon us.

McGee can go whistle.

They were both terrible, no one has to try to rationalize it and say he was a good OL coach yadda yadda … both worse coaches than Watson brown

He'll forever be "The Stache"... if for nothing else, the public hissy fit he threw in Snoozy's over a t-shirt featuring the 'stache!
