I would imagine this is because most of the media is unaware of Southern Indiana's existence.

I was until this thread.

They probably never heard of Lincoln Memorial University either. But it is a more beautiful place than where most of the media reside-- unless you think concrete is attractive. Just my opinion.

I'm still waiting for the WAC or the Big Sky to give UAA a call....

Having followed d2 basketball for years now, I can verify LMU is legit. And it would be great to see OVC add them and USI at the same time.

I honestly do not know how schools like this remain in existence. I'm sure it's a fine school (never heard of it either, but), but with zero public profile, how does it attract students?

It could be Horizon League as well. Bellarmine may have turned Horizon League down. Southern Indiana is next in line.

The WAC would have taken them between 2012-2020. They would not be accepted now.

It's well known here in East Tennessee. They have a law school in downtown Knoxville as well.

Bellarmine's goals is to get into SoCon, not the Horizon League. There seems to be interests with HL to get Southern Indiana and maybe Grand Valley State.

Whomever it is, they are doing a good job not leaking. I check tHL, Big South, OVC and ASUN websites, and even peaked in the back doors for unreleased pages (sometimes they have a page ready for release, but not linked to the main page) but nothing.

Probably the OVC, but who knows. BTW the OVC website has an expired certificate.

in all probability, they'll join in 2023, right?

That's too bad for Seattle, because Anchorage is much closer than those new WAC members in Texas.
