I didn’t see the game but Box Score says:

5 carries for 17 yards.

He’s also credited with recovering somebody else’s fumble.

Recovered a punt that hit off someone’s leg on receiving team. Carries were nothing special, but had a few nice blocks. Would have been nice to throw to him out of the backfield. Special teams and blocking will the job in NFL, and he did those well. A little concerned that he only measured a 6 ft even. NIU listed him as taller. Results should count more, but some evaluators weed you out automatically based on size.

I think he will be OK size wise. Kyle Juszczyk is 6’1”, 235. Rats very similar. They get the ball so little it’s more about blocking and catching(that one pass when it’s crucial).

Juszczyk only averages 3.6 ypc for his career.

Hope he gets a pro look, deserves it. Another NFL Huskie would be nice as well...

I feel certain he gets a shot. Sutton Smith is still hanging around in the league as a fullback and he’s never had a carry.

And Kyle's coach that got him PAID? Thomas Hammock. The Ravens' starting FB is coming off a substantial injury and is in a contract year. I would not at all be surprised to see him end up in Baltimore next year. Hammock will definitely be putting in a good word to Coach Harbs. This guy fits that system perfectly.

It's amazing how much pro offenses evolved where the FB is mostly insignificant today. To have a great running game back then, the FB was just important as the RB. Remember the days of Franco Harris & Rock Bleier, Jim Kick/Mercury Morris and Larry Csonka and of course Walter Payton & Roland Harper. In '78, Roland was 5 yards shy of the Beats having 2 different 1000 yard rushers in the same backfield.
