i remember this as well. then all the media news people began to think of themselves as personalities and comedians, so what's the difference.

TV news is dead, they committed suicide as they moved from journalism into commentary. it worked for a while. now the networks have been caught at it too many times to be taken seriously. Perhaps Mr. Stelter still thinks of himself as a journalist, but i doubt it. i imagine he thinks of himself as a salesman, which is what he is.

One thing I am not understanding is Joe Rogan and his platform is not news and he never acted like it was news. It's him and one other person sharing their personal opinions (even if they are experts in their fields) on topics. Joe Rogan is open minded and switches his opinion on things pretty often it appears to me. He's also pretty clear on all of this. I see little difference in his show and Howard Sterns guest segments besides Joe Rogan has more interesting guest and better questions.

Now, is it a joke his opinion is often closer to the truth that CNN, Fox, MSNBC. Yup.

MSM just mad he has more viewers and listeners.

Don't be salty either, back when I was in college 90% of the population got their "news and information" from Jon Stewart. You're only mad that conservatives are playing the game now. It was all fine and well for you when liberal personalities, actors and comedians were the only voices. Personally, I'm okay with all of them.
