2-1 end of 2. WMU will be on a PP for about 90 seconds in the 3rd.

Gotta win the 3rd and escape Duluth with a split.

A sweep really hurts.

Need to come out with the same energy and resolve that we did yesterday in the third. Need that split bad.

It's the same for every NCHC team. Get out of here with that nonsense.

NCHC tv was much better last season. We actually had a broadcaster. UMD had one of the better broadcasts last season with a host and show. It’s really bad this season.

Does it go down as a win? As in do we get the extra point or two?

We get all 3 pts in the NCHC standings.

I think in PairWise it's slightly better than a tie.

It’s a official win but 2 points in NCHC standings. NCHC only allows 3 points for regulation win. Pairwise is unaffected as it’s a win.

Maybe not, it looks like the UMD announcers explained that incorrectly. We get 2 pts & UMD gets 1 pt.

Actually, we get a win and a conference win but only get 2 points out of it

This is less of a great split then. Good that we stay ahead of UMD, but not ideal. Gotta get them all in Colorado next weekend.

Passolt seems to always play well in Duluth as his hometown is near there.

What a toe drag snipe!

Gotta get two wins in Colorado Springs next weekend.

So glad we at least salvaged a split but this weekend’s series is classic NCHC grind hockey.
