So as I take it the play by play guy for Montana State was canned for commenting a Portland State player was from the South Side of Chicago, and Portland was “not much different these days”. Later, he commented that Portland State was getting way with whatever they want (with respect to fouls). He remarked “Portland’s like Antifa after a riot. They might go to jail, but they get out right away.”

I'd say politics don't belong in sports, but that's what we got all 2020. If left-wing talking points are able to invade sports & no one bats an eye, I don't see what's wrong w/ right-wing talking points.

Don't you get it.. Everyone is wrong unless they're liberal.

He went risky

On a 1 to 10 scale, he went to 3. Average Trump speech a 7.

Good. He refused to apologize. It was all true.

Tell us how you really feel.

Maybe but the girl he's talking about has nothing to do with the crime on the south side of Chicago

If it was a tiny slip of one minor reference to something, I'd say talk to him and let it go. But there are opinionated people on both sides who will use a public platform to just go off on rants.

He should have known better. I doubt be cares, but I feel like it was own doing and not someone being hyper sensitive. It was simply not the way a university should be represented in the basketball realm. They are his employer and he didn't do well by them.

The worst part of all is the player he was talking about went to a private Catholic high school that is not even on the South side of Chicago, so he was really stretching it to talk about what be wanted. The statement was meant to disparage, and it wasn't even true or accurate.

How is any of that ^^^ “right wing”?

Leave it all out? Sure. But it’s not.

Pointing out lawlessness is now verboten right wingism?

C’mon man! Give me muh two scoops.

I mean, was he wrong in what he said? It's true.
