Is it true we have four commits for the Class of 2023 and none of them has any stars? What in the world is going on?

3 of the 4 have ratings from 24/7. They just don't have composite ratings which is a combination of ratings from a variety of sources.

Brennan Wooten is an 85. 3 star.
CJ Hester is an 83. 3 star.
Jack Parker is a 79. 2 star.
Razah Townsend doesn't have a rating yet.

Skinny but quick and long. As the ball is coming in, he can reach and extend and deflect. Has an advantage on most receivers in that way.

There are hints of two more commitments coming, but they haven't been announced yet. As things stand right now, WMU's recruiting class is #1 in the MAC and #42 in the country, according to 24/7. We have the highest rated class of any G5 school outside of Cincy and UCF, who are transitioning to the Big 12. Toledo is the next G5 school, at #54.

The staff is putting together a very nice class. Every commit had other FBS offers, most of them had many FBS offers, a few had P5 offers. We're winning recruiting battles.

I'm impressed, considering the continued under-performing on the field and lack of championships. I've been convinced for years now that WMU has the most talented teams in the MAC, but we always do less with more. The amount of players we put in the NFL and all-MAC lists attests to this. But that's also probably why we continue to recruit well, the prospect of getting to the NFL.

Anyway, it's good to see the recruiting hasn't slowed down. As long as we continue to bring in good talent, we'll keep competing at the top of the MAC. I just hope Lester can push the team over the top at some point.
