MyBB Kent State vs. Western Michigan
The Flashes will attempt to rebound from Saturday’s loss at UB tonight at the MAC Center. The Broncos are limping through the season.

That SHOULD be a sure win, but after CMU and NIU who the heck knows.

Akron. trailed them most of the game in the JAR and was lucky to pull out the win at the end.

Crazy MAC season, even more so than usual.

Nice 1st half. 47-30. Now if we can not let them back in the game like we usually do.

How much of that 20 point lead are they going to blow at home this time? Deja vu all over again?
Well, only 9 points as it turns out. Amazing what good things can happen when you shoot halfway decently.

Pretty good effort most of the night. Garcia and VCD looked good tonight. Hope VCDs injury at the end doesn't cost him time. The play where he got hurt was a big play in the game. Got on the floor to get it back and immediately led to a three. Hamilton looked a little more confident tonight too.

Oh, and apparently Johnson is still on the team. He was on the bench. Probably firmly entrenched in the dog house though.

Odd that he's still on the team.

Agree on the improved shooting , and Garcia and VCD looking good.
Inability however to put teams like this away is a sign of a lot of troubling
questions . Motivation, Concentration, Coaching.
As Sendy stated after game, he’s looking forward to seeing 40 minutes like first half. Fans are also.

Don't expect 18 points from Garcia every game ... but a consistent 12-13 would go a long way toward helping the offense. Still no Gio, which is a concern. His 9-10 ppg are huge considering the bulk come from 3-pointers.

RE: Kent State vs. Western Michigan
I'm not sure this team is talented enough to consistently play like last night's first half for anywhere near 40 minutes. Maybe if they can have everyone healthy, Covid and injuries, at the same time for a stretch. Garcia is never going to be 100%, but I hope he stays good enough to put in the minutes he did last night. I'm not sure when Santiago will be able to play every day. Maybe Johnson can get back in the rotation and give them some pop from the three-point line. Lots of "ifs" and "maybes". In the category of "what might have been", if it weren't for those two horrible home losses to CMU and NIU they would be in second place right now, one game behind Toledo over whom they have the tiebreaker. Oh, well.

Muskrat, That is a great point. We are what our record is, and many causes for those losses. All we can do is move forward. Next two road games will say a lot about legacy of this team.
